John Javier [Master]
BIOGRAPHY
John Javier was the owner and head chef of the Sydney based restaurant, MASTER which closed its’ doors in 2016 – a restaurant Noma’s Rene Redzepi labelled as one of his favourites in Australia. Since then, he moved to Hong Kong and opened the critically acclaimed Happy Paradise which was filmed on Anthony Bourdain’s ‘Parts Unknown’ and featured in TIME Magazine’s ‘100 Greatest Places on Earth’.
Heralded as the new voice of Chinese cuisine, Javier has recently moved to London to assume the role of Group Development Chef for Pachamama.
